<p>I agree. I think quotes are a good thing for adding flavor, even with minor characters. </p>

<p>There is no reason not to add a quote/quote section to the page of minor characters. If you check out the Contents pages you'll find various guides to quoting. Rule of thumb - only one quote at the beginning and under individual sections and no spoilers in these - put others, like your example, in separate "Quotes" section towards bottom of the page (ahead of Notes and references). Don't make quotes too long though. We do not want to end up with having too much content verbatim on the Wiki - people should still have to buy the books to get the 'real thing' ;) </p>

<p>While we are on the topic I kinda wished the Random Quote thing on the front page didn't contain quite so many spoilers. It is the front page after all. </p><p>Personally I think every character page should have one quote at the top. </p>

<p>I don't usually pay attention to the quotes on the front page, but I couldn't imagine what spoilers could be in them. So I refreshed the page a couple times and immediately got two Kalam spoilers. I modified one and removed the other. </p>

<p>Well spotted Jade Raven - I just never gave it a thought - spoilers turn up in funny places - only recently noted that one or two very innocent looking images contained spoilers (character head being named Strings/Fiddler in faint writing). </p><p>Anyway - I just had a go at cleaning up the quotes - a lot of spoilers actually arose from the quote being set in context - for example 'I name it Tufty' without the reference to cat and Antsy is not much of a spoiler to anyone. Taking out the bit about people believing Coltaine being dead, made the 'Wickans re-iterate' quote ok. Only removed a few quotes completely. </p><p>The bit where I am not sure what we can do about it is the actual source... quoting Tavore in The Crippled God kind of gives away that she survived Dust of Dreams.... </p>
