Is there a rough estimate of the casualties suffered by both sides during the barrow slaughter, and the overall campaign as a whole?

TBH I doubt the High King mentioned in Forge of Darkness was Kallor, as it makes no sense whatsoever. For one Anomander is some 300,000 years old and Forge of Darkness takes place when he must be have less than 100 years yet Kallor's empire was only some 120,000 years ago, 180,000 years after Forge of Darkness.
Besides that Kallor was the opposite of a "perfect liege, much beloved of his people", it's mentioned many times he was extremely cruel and hated, the crippled god was not called out of some basic power struggle but because they wanted to be rid of the horrible tyrant that making his people suffer so much.
Iirc it's also mentioned at least one other human empire existed over 100,000 years ago (though still far too late to be mentioned in Forge of Darkness) but mainly, the quote from Forge of Darkness makes no mention of the race of that high king so it could be any race and considering how not only the only known human empires were a long time afterwards but also humans probably didn't really exist yet but only their ancestors the Imass, it is even more unlikely that humans had anything to do with whatever is mentioned in Forge of Darkness.

Hello, I am currently in the process of getting to know the intricacies of how this fandom(malazan.fandom.com) connects to the Polish and German (malazan.fandom.com/pl and /de) language versions. I plan on updating the dramatis personae lists in the Polish version of the wiki and am trying to decide on a suitable approach.
The question is, how does the hyperlink connection between the wikis work?
More precisely, how do I get new articles on the Polish wiki connected to the English wiki in a timely fashion?
Photo legend:
Whiskeyjack - obviously the main character has more lang versions connected to the article on the English wiki.
Kilava - I have created the article in Polish language version just a few minutes ago, looking to test if there is a pre-existing script that will add it to the language versions list if I name the article the same as it is named in English.
Jib Bole - third example; no correlation between the names in English and in Polish, so I assume you have to do it manually - but do you have to do it manually for every article, every language version, even if the names correlate.
/background - I'm basing my dissertation on the translation of character names' in the Malazan from English into Polish and German and I want to improve the resource I'm using and I'm plain curious here (honestly the Polish wiki really needs some loving too)

I noticed that the page for Thelomen Tartheno Toblakai lists the Teblor as one of the races of Toblakai but the Teblor are explicitly listed as being the decedents of the Tlan Imass. So, are the toblakai imass, or vice versa? Or am I just confused?
What tower/fortress is that in the book cover?

I've really enjoyed reading the chapter summaries up to the point that I've completed in the audiobook (listening during my commute), as it's helped to fill in some of the gaps and details that I didn't quite absorb the first time around.
</p><p>I'm probably about 1/2-2/3 of the way through Deadhosue Gates, and as I've been backtracking through the chapter summaries, I see that it stops at Chapter 12.
</p><p>Is anyone still working on this resource? If anyone knows of an external source with some summaries that would be great!

<p>Hey all. I'm currently about 200 pages into only the second book, but I want to read up on some topics or characters as I go along, mainly to better understand this world. Eg. get a better picture of what "warrens" are exactly, the difference between Ascendants, gods, etc. Who the Tiste Andii are? And so on.
</p><p>However, I don't want to spoil major revelations, the way I did while reading the wiki of another major fantasy series whilst reading the books (it's that fantasy series that has an HBO show, and I accidentally spoiled a few MAJOR plot points for myself there).
</p><p>So, is there a way to filter this page by what book I'm on? So I won't accidentally read about a character that dies in book 5. Or that ascends.

<p>So one of my favourite things about the Malazan Book Of The Fallen is the colourful characters. Every single person has a whole bunch of back story, and even more life, even if it's only for Steven Erikson to steal them away from us.
</p><p>I was wondering if there is any issues with adding a "Quotes" Section to a characters page, even if they only lasted for a half a battle and really hold no serious aspect to the story. Just to add some life to the page other than "_______ Was a soldier in the _______ army. They Were killed during the battle of ______ by a _______"

<p>How do we use Template:Sandbox? The template page explains what a Sandbox can be used for, but it doesn't say anything about how to make one... how to use the template itself. Do we each create a User page Sandbox, or should one be set up for the Wiki's community use? What are the steps for making a Sandbox & how should it be named? Can we save the Sandbox page after playing with it? Sometimes it's helpful to see how something looks on a saved page.
