Hybrid races don't get a category? Edit

A suggestion: Instead of (or as well as) having the "Other Races" subcategory, perhaps there should be a "Hybrid Races" subcategory.  Barghast, Moranth, Shake, Jhag and Watered, at least, are all hybridizations of the various races.   Barghast were Jaghut-Humans, as I recall, and Moranth were Barghast with a bit of Tiste Edur blood.  Icarium's the only Jhag I ever saw mentioned, and he's described as half-Jaghut.  (If his other half is ever revealed, I'm pretty sure it's not in the main series.).  Shake are Human-Andii and Watered are Forkrul Assail-Human

As for the others...I'd say Eres and Imass are pretty much human.  They're Homo habalis and Homo neanderthalensis, respectively.  (Just...Neanderthals who can become the most awesome zombies ever.)  Nah'ruk are an offshoot of the Che'Malle - originally an extinct helper race, some Matron brought them back and then learned exactly why the Che'Malle got rid of them the first time.  The Jheck...I think they were described as Thelomen-human Wolf Soletaken, but I can't remember for sure.  I do recall a great deal of martial prowess of the style common to Thel Akai degenerates.

Stormriders and Azathanai, on the other hand, don't really fit - Azathanai, for one, are certainly not a hybridization. Rashkavar (talk) 23:24, March 7, 2014 (UTC)

I've just been thinking about this problem myself but WRT the Template:Race page. It may be better to simplify it rather than add more complications. The amount of hybridisations is truly large though. --Jade Raven (talk to me!) 21:37, March 9, 2014 (UTC)
