Corien Lim was a Darujhistani aristocrat from the Lim family. He had long brown hair and carried a traditional Darujhistani duelling sword.

Corien Lim traveled to Moon's Spawn in search of riches to help his family recover from the "reckless plans" of his uncles that had driven them all to bankruptcy. In the decrepit town of Hurly he witnessed a group of thieves attack Antsy and warned him when their leader, Jallin, tried to ambush him from behind. Antsy was able to turn and stop the attacker because of Corien's warning.[1] Later, on the boat ride to Moon's Spawn, Corien struck up a conversation with Antsy and Orchid and ultimately joined their group in adventuring through the ruined fortress. The group was attacked by other treasure hunters who had entered the Spawn before them. Corien and Antsy bore the brunt of this attack, however, and Corien was grievously wounded.[2] Orchid later used her healing talents to save his life.
After the group escaped Moon's Spawn, Corien traveled with Antsy and other Moon's Spawn survivors to Darujhistan via the warren of Darkness. There, the group witnessed the end of the Moranth-Seguleh war. Corien introduced himself to Torvald Nom and mentioned that he would be seeing Torvald quite frequently in the days to come, implying that he would be the next Councilor Lim to serve on the Darujhistani council.[3]
