A Ferryman worked the river between the Great Dry and Farrog.[1]
In Crack'd Pot Trail[]
The Ferryman brought Bauchelain, Korbal Broach, and Emancipor Reese down the river from the Great Dry to Farrog. Bauchelain explained to Reese that they planned to murder the city's Indifferent God and there was nothing the god could do about it. As he quietly masturbated nearby, the ferryman thought to himself, "That's what you think." His behavior was suspiciously like Arpo Relent's when the Well Knight was assumed to have been the Indifferent God returned.[1]
In The Fiends of Nightmaria[]
Upon reaching Farrog, Bauchelain and Korbal Broach usurped the rule of the city with Bauchelain installing himself as king and Broach as Grand Bishop. Aware that the ferryman was possessed by the Indifferent God, they had him imprisoned in the city's deepest dungeon. But Broach later found the man dead of excessive masturbation. Bauchelain concluded that the Indifferent God had escaped his mortal prison and now ran free.[2]
