Haradas was a merchant-mage and caravan master - more accurately, mistress - with the Trygalle Trade Guild.[1]

In Memories of Ice[]

During the Pannion War, Haradas led Trygalle Trade Guild caravans to supply the allied armies of High Fist Dujek Onearm and Caladan Brood. The Guild's travels were made increasingly dangerous by the poisoning of the Warrens. Haradas' first caravan arrived suddenly amidst the allied armies' march to Capustan trailing a fountain of Elder God blood. Along the way they had been attacked by twenty lost and frightened Demons who had clung to their wagons desparate to escape the nightmare Warren they were in. Much to Haradas' frustration, one demon's severed arm managed to get an unbreakable grip on one of the wagons' wheels.[2]

Later, Haradas joined the discussion amongst the allied armies' leadership over the unexpected appearance of enemy undead K'Chain Che'Malle K'ell Hunters. Haradas supported Kallor's claim that the entire Pannion War was a feint. The appearance of the K'ell Hunters suggested that the Pannion Seer was in league with a K'Chain Che'Malle Matron, but it would not have been in the Matron's interest to poison the source of her own power - especially given this particular Matron's history with Chaos magic. It was thought that something (or someone) else was guiding the war.[3]

After the allies lifted the Siege of Capustan, Haradas approached the Bonecaster Silverfox to ask permission for the Trygalle Trade Guild to send its caravans through the Warren of Tellann. This T'lan Imass Warren would provide a safer route as it was immune to the poison infecting the other Warrens. Silverfox assented to Haradas' request, but was surprised to learn that the Trygalle Guild sorcerers were already capable of accessing Tellann. The Bonecaster claimed that not even the most powerful of the Malazan Empire's mages had accomplished such a feat unaided. Haradas also said that the Trygalle Guild had chosen not to make use of Tellann, without getting permission first, out of respect to the T'lan Imass, as well as there being ready accessibility to less "uncivilised" Warrens in more 'normal' times.[4]

Quick Ben collected Moranth munitions from the Bridgeburners' supplies and contracted the Trygalle Trade Guild through Haradas to deliver them to Fiddler in Seven Cities.[5] This was the shipment Fiddler received at Tremorlor (via a caravan of Trygalle Guildmaster Karpolan Demesand) in Deadhouse Gates.[6]

In Toll the Hounds[]

Haradas, apparently retired from active Trygalle Guild caravan duty, was now in charge of the home office of the Trygalle Trade Guild in Darujhistan. While there, she had occasion to heal Master Quell, an active Trygalle Guild caravan master, after he had passed an unusually large kidney stone.[7]
