Isha was a Veil in the Second Company of the Crimson Guard. She was a wide, solid woman and wore her long, coarse dark hair woven in a single braid.[1]
In Return of the Crimson Guard[]
Isha was with the Guard when they besieged the warlock Shen's fortress atop the Spur in Bael. She, Cowl, and Keitil seemingly killed "Father Wind", the Ascendant from whom Shen leeched his power.[2]
With the end of the Diaspora, Isha's company returned to Stratem. The reunited Guard then invaded Unta, the Malazan imperial capital, where Isha killed a Claw on the city's wharf.[3] Moving deeper into Quon Tali mainland, the Guard fought the subsequent Battle of the Plains, where Isha struck the Malazan High Mage Tayschrenn as he fought Yathengar 'ul Amal. This act caused Tayschrenn and Yathengar to fall into the Chaos Rent, seemingly to their deaths.[4]
