Jacinth was a member of the Crimson Guard. Her thick mane of long, strikingly red hair became tangled when it was not piled high upon her head and pinned by a series of gleaming opalescent shell clasps.[1][2] She had a muscular build with powerful, curved shoulders.[1] Her beauty was dampened by a lifetime of campaign scars that marred her face.[2]
Jacinth wore layered and engraved leather scaled armour that was stained red, edged in bronze, and studded in blackened iron.[2] She carried two longswords on her waist.[2] When not girded for battle, she wore a thin linen shirt and cotton trousers.[1]
She excelled at stealthy reconnaissance and foraging, a skill developed since her days as a hunter in her youth.[3]
In Blood and Bone[]
Jacinth was a follower of Skinner and amongst those disavowed by K'azz D'Avore.[4] Apparently, she had only joined the Disavowed because of her hatred of Shimmer.
In Assail[]
After rejoining K'azz's faction, Jacinth took charge of the First Company on Stratem.[5]
