Lordson Hume was a nobleman from Lamentable Moll and the son of a landowner.[1] He was a distant relative of King Seljure and the paramour of the king's daughter, Princess Sharn.[2] He and Sharn shared an illicit taste for blood and the application of pain.[3]
In Blood Follows[]
Hoom and Sharn were drawn to the violent killer who was leaving a bloody trail through the streets of Lamentable Moll. When they got too close, Hoom was horribly slaughtered like the others and his spleen taken.[4][5] Hoom's father was paid "a chestful of coin and promises" to keep quiet about Sharn's involvement.[6]
In The Lees of Laughter's End[]
Lordson Hume awoke to find himself part of a multi-souled lich aboard the Suncurl. His spirit had passed to the ship when unscrupulous dock workers, Dully and Kreege, sold cheap iron nails to Captain Sater that they had reclaimed from the city's barrows. The lich, composed of Lordson Hoom, Hag Threedbore, Viviset, Baltro, and a monstrous Jhorligg among others, argued with itself even as it murdered members of the Suncurl's crew to rebuild its body.[7] When Korbal Broach destroyed the lich, Lordson Hoom once again found himself confined to a nail.[8]
