The creation of disambiguation and certain alias (title spoiler protection) pages has a negative impact on the Special:Lonelypages maintenance page (also known as orphaned pages). In most cases, a disambiguation page should not be linked to from another page. This results in dozens of incorrect entries on the Orphaned Page report and makes identification of true orphaned pages difficult.

Disambiguation and alias pages that appear on the Orphaned Page report can be linked below in order to remove them from that report.

As a general rule, few alias pages should be added to this page as most are linked to other pages and are not considered orphaned. Sister Night (see below) may be a unique alias page in that it links only to a disambiguation page.
