Malazan transports or Imperial transports were vessels designated to carry troops, horses, war materiel, or other necessary cargo to support Imperial war efforts or operations. Such vessels might be owned and operated by the Malazan Navy, contracted from outfitters, or commandeered from private owners.
In Deadhouse Gates[]
High Fist Pormqual used an Imperial transport to evacuate his household and prized stallions from Aren during the Whirlwind uprising.[1]
In The Bonehunters[]
Transports shuttled troops from Nap and Unta to reinforce the Malazan armies in Seven Cities.[2] A fleet of transports was likely in the Kansu Sea, or west of it, escorted by a sizeable force of dromons.[3]
In Stonewielder[]
Hosts of non-military transport vessels were used to move the Malazan Expeditionary Force from Unta to the Lands of Fist.
