The following images were created specially for the Inktober Challenge 2021. Jake Parker created Inktober in 2009 as a challenge to improve his inking skills and develop positive drawing habits. It has since grown into a worldwide endeavor with thousands of artists taking on the challenge every year. The original challenge was to draw an image with ink at each of the 31 days of October and post it with the hashtag #inktober. Since 2016 an official prompt list is also published
For the 2021 Inktober Shadaan put together a Malazan themed prompt list, with objects from the books for every day, making it a Malaztober Challenge.
