Orzu was one of the Sea-Folk, a fisher of the inland seas of Korel and its archipelagos, and patriarch of his clan. He was born on a boat. Later, he and his clan of children and grandchildren lived in a tiny fishing hamlet, a collection of slate-roofed stone huts on the shores of the Plains of Blight.[1]
Orzu had long grey hair and stainbed, rotted teeth. He was known to smoke a pipe.[2][3][4]
In Stonewielder[]
Orzu met the Crimson Guardsmen Blues, Lazar, Fingers, and Shell when they reached his village after crossing the Iceback Range from Stratem.[5] They hired him, and thereby his extended clan, to take them to Korelri as part of their mission to rescue Iron Bars and the Second Blade from the Stormwall. Orzu reluctantly played the part of a slaver at the Korelri fortress Shelter to allow the Guard members to infiltrate the Stormwall prison.[6]
After the Wall fell Orzu and most of his clan were able to ride out the massive tidal wave that followed in their boats. Blues and his squad returned to them long enough for Orzu to tell them about the Stormguard sanctuary at Sky Tower.[7]
