Prince Ranur led the imperial response to the uprising of the Jourilan Army of Reform. He commanded an army of aristocratic cavalry and mercenaries from Dourkan and Jasston to face what he deemed a peasant uprising outside of the city of Ring. There he ordered the execution of the movement's Priestess in full view of her supporters.
The arrogant nobles succeeded in inflicting heavy casualties on the Reform Army, but they were ultimately overcome by the tactics of Commander Martal and the determination of the long oppressed peasantry. Ranur likely perished during the fighting as the Reformists took no prisoners.
