The Rathyd were a clan of Teblor located on the Laederon Plateau on northern Genabackis. They were the closest clan geographically to the Uryd and shared the longest history of conflict with them.[1]
Among the Teblor, they were the clan that bred the fewest horses.[2]
Imroth the Cruel was their goddess among The Seven Faces in the Rock.[3]

Karsa Orlong, Bairoth Gild, and Delum Thord journeyed through Rathyd lands in order to raid the human settlements located to their east. The three warriors surprised a camp of Rathyd hunters, killing all but one. The survivor returned with reinforcements from his village to search for their attackers. But Karsa and the others used their departure to launch an attack on the village itself, raping the wife and daughters of the chief.[4]
