Sekal was a town at the mouth of the Sekala River on the Karas Sea on the Seven Cities continent. Its stone bridge was the only place to cross the river other than the ford at L'enbarl five days upriver.[1]

After the Battle of Sekala Crossing, High Mage Kamist Reloe was forced to lead his army of the Whirlwind through Sekal after Fist Coltaine destroyed the ford at L'enbarl.[2]
