Skelenal was the Father of the Yedan Shake Monastery in Kurald Galain. His lifebound mate was Mother Sheccanto Derran of the nearby Yan Shake Monastery.[1] Skelenal and Sheccanto were kin to each other and to the queen that preceded Mother Dark. If they chose, either could have made a claim on the throne.[2]
