Spoiler safe

Sorrit was a pureblooded dragon, an Eleint.[1]

In Midnight Tides

Udinaas and Feather Witch accidentally travelled to the Refugium where they met the Imass, Ulshun Pral, and the boy, Rud Elalle. Ulshan Pral spoke of a Hold the two Letherii had never heard of called Starvald Demelain. In an attempt to explain, he listed the names of many of its notable denizens including Sorrit. He finished by calling them "Eleint. Draconean. Dragons. The Pure Dragons."[2]

In The Bonehunters

Her aspect was Serc, the warren of the sky, which she shared with Osserc.[3][4]

Mappo and Icarium discovered a newly opened chasm within one of the Odhans of Seven Cities. At its bottom they discovered a K'Chain Che'Malle Skykeep that had until recently been been encased in the ice of Omtose Phellack. Mappo and Icarium found Sorrit long dead inside, held to a Blackwood cruciform by an iron spike streaked with Otataral.[4] Together the pair theorised that the Eleint had been killed by the Tiste Edur of the Shadow Realm, but the ice of Omtose Phellack encasing the Skykeep had snared her back into the physical realm, with the spilt blood and otataral breaking down the Jaghut charm that held the Skykeep suspended. The killer had drank of her blood (fouled by otataral) and been transformed.[4][3]

Mappo noted that the Elder Eleint's death meant the source of Osserc's power was under assault. Her death left Osserc the sole ruler of Serc and if he were to die, the warren would have no ruler. Along with Fener's recent fall, Mappo saw this as evidence that the pantheon was under siege.[4]

Ganath, the Jaghut who had originally trapped the skykeep in ice, was alerted to the destruction of her sorcery and returned to repair it. She noted that in addition to Sorrit's blood, Chaos magic had been unleashed to shatter her ice. She was also confused by the sense that time itself had been twisted within the fortress. But before she could repair the damage, she was ambushed and slain by K'Chain Nah'ruk.[5]

In Toll the Hounds

Spinnock Durav listed Sorrit among those of Anomander Rake's court who had died or gone missing over the years.[6]

In Fall of Light

Sorrit told Raest and Garelko that she was the sister of Dalk Tennes who had been slain by Thel Akai. Dalk had lusted after her blood so according to Sorrit it was just as well he was dead.[7]
