Layout of the Hold[]
The geography of the hold is something of a mess. I'm not sure the descriptions of the Hold match up across its various appearances. The buildings inside are not described the same way in GotM as they are in BH. I did my best to reconcile, but it might be a future project to look carefully at GotM/BH/NK/DHL/KR and figure it out.--ArchieVist (talk) 17:06, April 23, 2020 (UTC)
- True. Also parts of the Hold are sometimes referred to by different names at different times. I'm not sure we need to be overly concerned in the differences between the descriptions of the Hold between GotM and BH. GotM is infamous, after all, for a number of continuity inconsistencies between it and the later MBotF books. I wonder if the Hold descriptions among the various ICE books (NK/DHL/KR) are consistent with each other as as well as with BH? Something to bear in mind down the road.
