==  Nightchill's use of Denul and non-Elder magic==

Nightchill uses Denul to heal Juage at the end of Dancer's Lament, when the unveling of Kurald Thyrllan breaks the siege of Li Heng.

Kallor coats his sword with otataral to stab her at the end of Deadhouse Landing, which stops her magic, and also prevents her from healing herself, which suggests she doesn't have access to any Elder magic, which would ignore the ore.

There is no evidence she used Denul. She cools Juage with her aspect, then advises that as he is injured, he should rest for a few days. At the endo of the book Juage has left and no mention is made of any healing having been employed. Egwene of the Malazan Empire (talk) 21:12, July 27, 2019 (UTC)

Physical strength[edit source]

Despite her appearance as a tall, but otherwise unremarkable human, Nightchill is incredibly and inhumanly strong.

She crushes a metal helmet in one hand to warn off a troop of Kan Elites (Dancer's Lament, Chapter 2):

"The young man fronwed his puzzlement, yet maners dictated that he must hand over the helmet. She examined it, turning it in her fingers. A turban of green silk encircled it and the sun gleamed from it polished iron surface.

She grapsed its domed top in one hand, and, squeezing, crushed it like a fruit."

She also carries an adult Jaghut as easily as if he were a baby (Dancer's Lament, Chapter 18):

"She raised her aspect to cool him while she held him in her arms, and though he was twice her size she carried him easily, like a child." 18:30, July 30, 2019 (UTC)
