The Undying Gratitude was the pirate ship captained by Shurq Elalle. Its first mate was Skorgen Pretty. It had at least twenty-four sweeps. It sustained damage in the chaos which arose when Felash, a passenger, struck a deal with the Elder God Mael. To stop it from sinking and enable those on board to make it to the coast, Felash then employed Omtose Phellack, freezing not only the ice in the cracks but also water in the belly of the ship which eventually cracked the boards. Lacking suitable wood for repairs, the ship was abandoned.
