Walk in Shadow is the expected title of the final book in Steven Erikson's Kharkanas Trilogy. In a 2017 interview, Erikson stated there would "be plenty of surprising reveals in [Walk in Shadow], primarily centered on the creation of the three warrens of Dark, Light and Shadow."
Erikson says Olar Ethil will have a "fairly major role" in the book with sections written from her point of view.[1]
STATUS: On 31 July 2024, Erikson announced he was 75% of the way complete with Book 3 in the Witness Trilogy. Afterwards, he plans to quickly write the eighth Bauchelain & Korbal Broach novella before completing Walk in Shadow.[2]
